Since the 4210T is more powerful than the 4208, you can also expect it to be bigger than the latter. The 4210T is a medium-sized drill press that measures at 21.5 x 14.5 x 9.5 inches.

The large size also means that you can comfortably work with more extensive materials; this is possible since WEN has increased the swing size to 10-inches.

Furthermore, WEN has also increased the spindle size to two and a half inches; therefore, you can bore a deeper hole than before.

The only thing that remains the same when compared to the 4208 is the chuck capacity, which is a standard half-inch, and it is compatible with half-inch drill bits. However, after you use it, the one thing that stands out is that with the size of this drill press and the mid-range motor, WEN could have done better if the drill press had a ¼ inch chunk size, now that would have significantly boosted its performance.

Last of all, the table size measures at 7-5/8 x 7-5/8 inches; and this is just enough so that you can comfortably work with decent-sized materials like lumber, steel sheets, wood planks, Plexiglas sheets, and much more. You can easily conclude that the size of the drill press and the table does not amount to the more prominent shortcomings here; instead, it is the motor that stops you from drilling thick high-density materials like steel.

Like all the other WEN drill presses, the 4210T will also allow you to tilt the table left and right by 45-degrees; this not only makes your job very easy, but it also makes the 4210T much more versatile than most other drill press. • You have a variable speed dial instead of the five different speed options; this means that you can adjust the speed anywhere between 600 – 3100 RPMs, and this makes the drill press very versatile when working with different materials.
• It is affordable and offers great value.
• The depth adjustment is very easy and accurate.
• You have a precision laser, and LED lights for convenience.
• It has excellent build quality.

What We Don’t Like

There are very few things that can go wrong with the drill press; however, only one thing painfully stands out, and that is the motor. You will not be able to drill through thick high-density metals like steel. However, given the price range, you really could not expect to see a drill press that offers such luxury.

Conclusion

Even though the 4210T is clearly superior to the 4208, one can say that the 4208 offers higher value than the 4210T, given the price tag of each model. This is clear since none of the models can drill through high-density metals that are thick. However, make no mistake that the 4210T is more powerful and more massive, making it more versatile. Also, it is more comfortable to work with because of the build quality and size. If you have experience using drill presses, then you will notice that working with woods is smoother on the 4210T than it is on the 4208.
